Wallpaper Wednesday
Today’s lesson is that you should always remember to hit ‘Post’ when you’re trying to update Wallpaper Wednesday. This collection of wallpaper is from the book ‘Suzani’ and we know we say this a lot, but it is one of our favorites! Even more exciting is that all three of these patterns will be available as instock patterns in March. Excuse us while we do our happy dance…

So, let’s pretend today is Wednesday and that we didn’t forget to post this yesterday. Awesome, thanks!
This week’s selection is actually a pattern we have instock right here in the store! How’s that for instant gratification?
You can go bold or subtle by pairing it with either of these lovely colours from our Colour Stories collection. Oh, and did we mention that all of our instock papers are 10% off? Ya, we thought that would sweeten the deal… — with CSP-310 First Crush and CSP-865 Limeade.

So we’re a little later in the day than usual, but it was so lovely and warm we had to enjoy the day despite the rain. Today’s selection comes from the book ‘Neo’ by Joanne Fabrics. This was one of the very first books we received from them, and this pattern was love at first sight. It’s available in various colours, but there’s something simple and elegant about this particular combination. — withAF-65 Fossil, AF-395 Meditation, AF-390 Glacial Till and AF-85 Frappe.

So we decided that we needed something bright and fun for today’s post to help us get through these January Blahs. Our search took us straight to ‘Bistro 750′ from our good friends at Provincial. Both of these patterns add a touch of bright and fresh colour with a touch of retro style. Whether you’re looking for something bright for your kitchen, or something funky and fun for a laundry room, this book has some fabulous bold patterns. We love the combination of corals, greens and yellows in these two patterns, but other great colour waves are available as well. Stop in and take a look!

Wallpaper Wednesday is a day late, sorry -’Tom Time’ is contagious. Today’s selection is from the book ‘Zinc’ by Provincial. It’s a great way to incorporate paisley into your life without being too busy. This particular one looks fantastic paired with CC-932 North Sea, 2163-30 Penny and AF-680 Wish.

An entrance is a space that usually has limited amounts of character. Paint can elevate this room to new heights, but nothing compared to the colourful pattern of wallpaper. We found a few pictures to inspire you, but come into the store and take a look at our wallpaper books. So many great options and there is one perfect pattern waiting for you.
This wallpaper is designed by famous designer Kelly Wearstler, it’s simplicity creates a great focal point.
When using wallpaper, never forget that it becomes an instant focal point. From there on, furniture can be white are all one neutral colour and the room won’t fall flat.
Paint out an old shelf and/or mirror to match your wallpaper scheme. The results will be stunning and a very in-expensive solution, you will love it.
Last but not least, putting wallpaper on the risers of your stairs. This idea is so creative and a big way to add drama to your entrance.
“The lovely thing about wallpaper in an entry is that it gives the feeling that the space goes on and on-continuing beyond what you can see- whereas with paint your eye stops at the edges.” -Rita Koning
