a calming bathroom tone
We love the softness of this paint colour, it’s warm and calming. 2112-60 Cement Gray by Benjamin Moore.

Nail Boutique & Spa
Our amazing neighbours at Nail Boutique and Spa did a colour makeover last year and with our help, it’s AMAZING!
The front counter area is welcoming and fresh with it’s turquoise accent wall.
1. 370 Yellow Tone 2. 753 Santa Clara 3. AF-565 Mysterious 4. AF-45 Collector’s Item all colours by Benjamin Moore.
We started with a fresh coat of paint throughout the whole space in a warm off white, walls, trim/doors and furniture. This allowed us to create a “pop” with coloured accent walls.
We used a bold citron yellow on a wall in the waiting area and also behind the sink area.
The seating wall for manicures and pedicures was boring and too light for such a large wall, we amped up the style factor with Amy Butler wallpaper in Temple Tulips Ocean by Graham & Brown.
There is a large back wall that we chose a deep navy AF-565 Mysterious for, but it was too large to take pics of.

a glossy finish
What do you think about high gloss paint? As most people paint with eggshell or flat finishes, high gloss really enhances the dramatic effect of a room. If you are going for this look try Advance High Gloss by Benjamin Moore.
What about ceilings painted in high gloss? I love how the rest of the room reflects off the glossy black ceiling in the first image.
Or if you prefer neutral tones in your home, be a little daring by using high gloss for those ivory whites. The glossy white hallway reflects light in an effective way.
For the really daring, go big with a bold gloss, as in this teal living room. The bright color with the added gloss capture your eye and won’t let it go!

Wallpaper Wednesday
So we’re a little later in the day than usual, but it was so lovely and warm we had to enjoy the day despite the rain. Today’s selection comes from the book ‘Neo’ by Joanne Fabrics. This was one of the very first books we received from them, and this pattern was love at first sight. It’s available in various colours, but there’s something simple and elegant about this particular combination. — withAF-65 Fossil, AF-395 Meditation, AF-390 Glacial Till and AF-85 Frappe.

We found a few pictures to inspire you, but come into the store and take a look at our wallpaper books. So many great options and there is one perfect pattern waiting for you.
