Benjamin Moore just revealed its paint color of the year for 2019, and they want to set the tone as neutral as possible.
The colour of choice was a cool gray called AF-690 Metropolitan. The selection is meant to emphasize the “calming role gray plays in society,” says a company source.
“Comforting, composed and effortlessly sophisticated, AF-690 Metropolitan exudes beauty and balance,” Ellen O’Neill, Benjamin Moore Director of Strategic Design Intelligence, said. “It’s a color in the neutral spectrum that references a contemplative state of mind and design.
