The classic Wedgewood Gray

HC-146

Close in family to Benjamin Moore‘s colour of the year, this fresh gray/blue is a colourful neutral that pairs well in almost any space.

It’s interesting that Benjamin Moore called this color gray, when it is really more of a blue. So look for it in the blue section of their Historical color chart.

It’s a nice colour for a foyer or hallway, especially if the rest of your rooms are on the brown neutral side.

We love it painted over old panelling, great for a cottage or sunroom.

Calm and soothing enough for a bedroom.

Enjoy and don’t be afraid to try this colour in your home.  We have sample pots for only $9.99, so it’s easy to try it out here and there.

rouge

Don’t be intimidated by the bold intensity of red!

Red paint shades are the drama queen of paint colour palettes, always ready to impress. Learn how to tame this flamboyant color and use it for decorating your home.

Pink is still a shade of red…

Red is present in pinks, corals, mauves and violets. If you can’t picture yourself in a red bedroom, how about one painted in dreamy pink cadillac (2002-70)—a romantic, soft pink.

A bold hot pink can warm up any room, this wall is Royal Flush 2076-20 by Benjamin Moore.

For a softer/warmer pink like these 2 bedrooms, try Pink Ribbon 2087-60 by Benjamin Moore.

Try a classic muted pink tone, like this one.

soft tones in a powder room

Sometimes it’s nice to go bold color in a powder room, for those of you who would rather create a softer look…try different tones of white!  We love how designer Jessica Helgerson used woodwork to bring in a darker shade and did the walls in a nice warm white.
